I have begun a new project and thought that’d be worth sharing today. Won’t be writing a great deal on it, but a picture is worth a thousand words so sharing this illustration is two blog posts…. Right?
I recently had to teach myself how to use InDesign to do a school project, and it’s been making me think about typography, so I thought, “Wouldn’t it be funny to make a series of illustrations playing on the word ‘cell’ and lay them out nicely!” Of course, in true me-style… I ended up making it look serious and moody. I may tweak them further to play around with aligning the text different ways, but here they are…
And another version with more attention paid to aligning elements. Not sure which I prefer.
I’m not sure what they mean. I have almost a dozen of them sketched on Post-it notes. I plan to keep going. It’s certainly not any kind of educational science material… but it does have its wit. Maybe sometimes wit is enough.
